Can anyone give a fair comparison between the Fenwick Elite Tech Smallmouth 6'9" MLXF (which I have one that I use and one still new with tags/wrapper on cork) and the St. Croix Avid X 6'9" MLXF? How are they similar and how are they different in usage, taper, etc.? As evident from previous forum posts, I am interested in the Avid X and wonder how it differs from the ET Smallmouth series since I am rather familiar with them and they are awesome rods. Thanks and best wishes on the water.
