just bought revo stx  looking for more equipment what other reels are compatable with this one.  I found deal on this one $ 124.95 free shipping.  also looking for decent 7 ft' medium duty crank bait rod like g loomis  crank bait series, same question.  what rods compatable?      also like there imx 7 ft'  medium heavy  fast action  Been learning trying to upgrade equipment. The reel will be compatible for a wide range of rods.  I wouldn't use if for 3/16 oz. and less baits, nor would I use if for swimbaits that require heavy line, but it will work great for anything in between.  I use a Gen1 STX.  Very nice reel.  Mine is spooled with 40# braid, and goes to Florida with me almost every trip for use in the lily pads.  Absolutely no problem throwing an unweighted 10" ribbontail worm on a 3/0 thru 5/0 hook a fair distance.
