small boat/trailer combo

Featured Replies

I may need to get a boat that I can power with a trolling motor and trailer to the lake.  I must put it in my garage so it can't be too long including the trailer.  I'm open to any suggestions at this  point, pontoons, square back canoes, jon boats, etc.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.

Well there is always the Jon boat option and decking it out like the infamous LBH boat.  I did that, but I have been fishing more out of my old boat this year ....... old faithful.

Try to find a used Gheenoe, highsider . These come in two lengths 13 & 15ft. 4 ins. They are like a square stern canoe  ( easy to push with electric power) and are almost impossible to tip. I have been using one for over  25 yrs. and  would not go back to a jonboat. Check out customgheenoe.com in the boats for sale section. I would stay away from the classic model as they are wider and a lot heavier.
