Another kayak question....carts!

Featured Replies

Looking to do some more exploring at hard to get to lakes here in Eastern Pa. Any suggestions on a good, reliable and sturdy kayak cart? Trails will be unpaved hiking type trails.  I'd like to purchase one, really not interested in building one.

Thanks!

I just drag mine by the front handle if I'm alone, which I usually am. I can carry it by the two side handles, but only do that on pavement. If I used one of those carts that flips over onto the rear of the kayak, I'd lose the space I use for my milk crate. I have it rigged with 5 vertical rod holders and use it to hold a tackle box, soft plastics bags and used plastics, etc. (trash). I have even put a Playmate cooler in it and kept some fish.

I based my DIY yak on his design, but I'd buy this in
a NY minute if I had the $. Much better built, floats,
goes where you want it.

Nice!! Price wasn't as bad as I thought. Looks like it will go anywhere and easy to use.  Christmas cash burning a hole in my pocket!
