lettering help

I am going to custom paint an older Reel i have.  Once i paint it, the branding and logos will be gone.  I am looking for something that will let me transfer graphics / logos back to the reel.  I have seen some ideas but don't know where to find them.

1.  I bought a rod years ago at a show.  they had a foil adhesive transfer deal that allowed them to put my name on the blank in Gold metalic.  I wrot my name, they rubbed it on the blank and boom.

2.  I have a JDM shimano reel that had what looked like a security sticker on it.  When i tried to remove it, the silver lettering transferred to the reel as the sticker peeled away.  SLICK! and perfect for what i need but i don't know that the heck that is.

3.  Custom vinyl lettering that is small like the word CURADO or CITICA on the new Shimano reels but writing I specify.  Would also be spot on to get it in a brushed aluminum finish.

ANY help would be welcome.  My google searching is not very productive
