take I lb deer burger brown it. at same time cook liptons minute rice and mushroom in another pan. dump in burger add I can cream of mushroom soup. I even add a jar of sliced mushrooms . stir and cook all together. YUM YUM as grandpaw jones used to say on hee haw.

My wife has a variation of that where she browns a pan of ground beef (substitute whatever ground meat) and adds a jar of Heinz Chili Sauce. Put that in a square baking pan and cover with Jiffy Cornbread mix. Bake per the cornbread mix directions. She calls it Man Cooked Meal.

we italians had a dish we cooked cornbread and poured a meat tomato sauce over it. The old people made this many times(mom).
