What transom transducers are you all running with your gen 3 units? I was set on getting the Totalscan, but I've been reading a lot of people having trouble with them not reading while on plane. Any of you guys have suggestions before I pull the trigger?

    What kind of boat? I have a TotalScan and it is more difficult to get working (still working on it).

    On a glass boat, I would glass in a 2D transducer and hang a LSS2 off the back. I have seen videos from Lowrance with TotalScan reading depth at 60 mph if your willing to play around.

    Ive got the HDS 7 Gen 3 with the 3d structure scan.  I have the 2 different transducers , it works great.  not much more to say than that
