    Darren - You can always speed up the 50 platform reels with a few different gear options. They will accept gears from the Core (7:1) and from the Brenious (7:7.1). I have swapped both of these gears sets with no issues just to speed up the stock 6:4.1 in a few of my 50 series reels.

    two 50e reels with the Core 7.1:1 gearing... :)
