Sorry if it's been posted I am kind of in a hurry to do a proper search, but question is these are on sale this coming weekend and for the price break it's well within what  I am willing to spend. I am not at this time fishing tournaments, but I was wondering if this was a quality depth finder. So any experience with it and advice would be greatly appreciated. Btw, I am going to be using it as bow mounted unit. I don't anything with side scan as something that may be suggested as comparable.

I had one and really liked it. sold it for a Hook 9. can't sync them with a console unit, but I'm happy with the mapping. if you don't need the mapping, you can save more by getting the X model. HB also makes some fine 7" units. I've been using Lowrance for many years and see no need to change.
