Used Bass boat for around $10,000

Featured Replies

I am looking for a used bass boat in that price range and I wanted to see what I could get with that amount and if anyone has one for sale.

A buddy of mine just got a 2000? 18' Skeeter with a 2001 Merc 175 on it for $8500, so good boats are out there in that price range. Things get interesting right around $10,000 it seems like there were a lot in the $12,500 range. We looked for a while online, and he ended up finding this one local (a guy that he had painted some baits for). It will depend on your location, what options (length, construction, electronics, power unit) you are looking for, and how far you are willing to travel to get a boat.

I sent you a couple of pms.  There are lots of boats out there. Be sure to avoid jumping in on the first thing you see. Also have your money ready because if it is the right deal it may not last for long.

Here is a cool article my friend wrote about doing justthis thing.

In this article he wrote about getting his old boat prepped and made as beautiful as possible to get max sales value, all while chasing his "perfect"  next boat.  I witnessed it, both selling the old and a relentless daily search for what he now loves to fish from.  He goes through what to look for and what to watch out for.  And it is titled the "Under  $10K bass boat. This is a good read for anyone looking at a used boat.
