Do you prefer "shad" shaped heads, ball heads, bullet heads...ect. and why? 

 

I've been thinking about getting these homemade 1/2 and 3/4oz jigs with 5/0 mustad hooks on eBay fairly cheap in either shad profile head or ball head, or the conquistador bullet heads from TW in the same sizes. What are your preferences when it comes to swimbait jigheads and why? 

I fish ballhead around rock, for openwater i dont care what the shape is.

I like a short shank- a barb on top and barb on bottom- would like eyes but not a deal breaker. Shape not a big concern but if same price would pick a head that is more detailed or minnow/fish head shaped just cause.
