I've been seeing them on sale a lot.  TW had a big sale on them during Xmas.    $70-$80 off.   I grabbed one.    I got 3 of them.   They are great.

The messed up thing about this comment is I think I just bought a Stradic, that's a great deal.

 

So I'm guessing Shimano is going to releasing new versions of the Chronarch and the Curado as they are both price reduced in many large retailers.
