Jigginpuss (not what you think)

Featured Replies

Check out the video of Ike live lining an octopus on a swimming lure.  Truly unique experience from a beloved bass fishing god.

My impression of Ike -

"Aaaahhggggg, its a giant, look out I'm coming back there, yeeeeeeeee, it is a monster (smacks own head 3 times)..."

MLF official - "1 lb 6 oz"

Watching him fish on the Mississippi last season during MLF was so d**n hilarious because he though every 12 oz fish was a giant!

Has anyone seen the episode with Zona where he is freaking out over a 3 pounder and trips over the boat seat, snaps some of his rods, and falls into the water?

Cool video and always get a kick out of the enthusiasm. i wasn't anticipating seeing the two of them out in the salt together... looked like good times.

As ridiculous as he is, I think he's actually being genuine. I've learned a lot from his videos, but I can't stand him on the water.

Oh I know he's being genuine, and I can't knock the guy for his undying enthusiasm for bass fishing.

He's just so easy to make fun of because of it. However his informational videos are great and he's one of the better elite series fisherman and youngest classic champions for a reason.

Perfect. Pro fishing's most annoying angler by far.

I think he's good for the sport. He's entertaining to watch. Sort of a goofball but he knows what he's doin. And has some cool tips in his videos. Sure he pimps out the sponsors but they all do. Maybe it's because I like his sponsors so well.. I like most of the products he uses no matter who's fishin em.

Bassresource's exclusive interview with him was cool. I didn't watch it all but I remember him saying he wished had more free time... And when asked what he'd do in his free time he answered; probably fish. Lol

I like Iaconelli, he's really funny and entertaining, but whenever I see a dead octopus, I will admit I am saddened.  They are INSANELY smart!  At the zoo I volunteer at, I frequently get to work with the Giant Pacific Octopus and she is essentially an underwater puppy.  She's super playful and loves being splashed.  RIP that Lingcod's food though.

I believe  the octopus to be a staple for  many fishes of the northwest waters and Alaska. I know that halibut really enjoy them.

I snagged an octopus while fishing the Ocean City MD jetty one time.It had a head  about 8" dia.I was a little uneasy about getting inked,so as easily as I could,I put   a foot under it and eased it back home.
