I have a tournament in 2 weeks at wylie. I have never fished there. What is the main baitfish in the lake, and what works best? Also is the water normally stained or pretty clear?

I live right by Wylie, and I believe that the main baitfish are Shad, though now that we're in the prespawn they will aggressively eat Bluegill as well.  Also crawfish, of course.  Make sure that you look up the location of the Allen Steam Station discharge, as it puts hot water into the lake, which could affect your strategy depending on the weather conditions at the time of the tournament.
