Does Anyone Have Experience with the BPS Micro Lite pack rods?

Featured Replies

I saw the BPS Micro Lite pack rods are on sale for $45 at Bass Pro, and I'm in pretty desperate need of a good hike to the river and travel rod. I'm looking specifically at the 7'6" Spin/Fly combo and the 6' Medium casting rod. I plan on buying both if they're good rods. I'd be targeting smaller bass, typically 2.5 pounds at the biggest, and I'm wondering if anyone has picked either of these up and can attest for the quality. I've heard relatively good things about the micro lite series, but nothing about the pack rods.

I bought the 5'6" L version, spinning, and it is

more of a ML strength. Excellent rod. Really

enjoy it. Caught plenty of smallies up to 2 lbs

and would have no issue catching much heavier

bass on it.

Cool thanks! I'll pick up the spin/fly light and the bait casting medium pack rods and report how they do. With the weather warming, I should have more than enough time to try them out within the Bass Pros return policy.
