I love mine, but I don't live in the land of alligators.  The worst thing I have to worry about is turtles or the occassional snake, but those are few and far between and easy to avoid.  You are just asking for a world of hurt by using one in gator country.

ya after thinking  about it for a while i realized it would be the stupidest desison of my life and maby the last 1 i think ill just have to pay the extra money and het a good jon with a troling moter even if i have to pay the extra money
