Helix 7 G2 transducer question.

Hi all newbie here, my question is regarding the hdsi transducer for the Helix G2 7. Do I need to leave the default settings on the unit as is, or go in to the transducer setting and change it to something different? If so what does it need set on? Just got it all hooked up today and ready to go!

    The ONLY setting you have for a Side Imaging transducer is Compact Sidescan.

     

    What you get with the HDSI transducer is longer SI crystals that produce sharper images. In no way does that transducer add any extra functions to your unit.
