Went fishing this past Friday and there were no beds or any sign of shallow bass. Fished Monday for a bit in the a.m after work. I ran into multiple beds in about 2 ft or less of water. I could see some males on the beds but no big females yet! Even saw a male making a bed, which was pretty cool to see. Tried flipping into a few beds but no takers. Water was 58° when I got there and 60° when I left around 1030. Saw about 4 other bass roaming some clay flats in about a foot of water. Really hoping to get my first bed fish out of my kayak soon! Good luck guys! 

 

Got 3 topwater bass too!
