Chatter Frog

Featured Replies

I haven't seen a post on the Chatter Frog.  I was at Wally World today and  picked up a couple.  Has anyone out there used them yet?  If so, how did they work?  They look just like a Chatterbait except the trailer is a frog.  I was talking to another guy while there and he said they really work good.

I believe the initial idea of the chatterfrog was for it to be buzzed under the surface and fished sort of like a topwater. The kicking aciton of the frogs legs make a lot of comotion, and used to draw reaction strikes.

If fishing at night with it, be sure to add a black skirt, and also...a black frog wont hurt either.

Best of luck.

I got the chatterbait kit with the mini, original, frog, and pitching chatterbaits, and the frog was the one chatterbait that I have never caught a fish on.

The pitching chatterbait with a paca craw trailer is unbelievable though.
