I recently moved to the area. My son is getting to the age where i want to get him into fishing. I am limited to bank fushing at the moment. Does any one know of any spots/areas i can take him. Any help is appreciated, thank you

    Lake Hickory, Lookout Shoals Lake and the Catawba river are all within 30 or so mins of Hickory. Not sure if any have good bank fishing access or not. I'm planning on making a trip down that way before long to give lookout shoals a try.
