I am in the process of upgrading my electronics on my new boat.  I am thinking of getting the following:

Bow: Lowrance X-125 black and white unit

Console: Lowrance LMS 334iGPS color unit

What do you guys think?  I figure I don't need color on both front and console, plus I need to save some money, so I think this might do it.

    I like the idea, sounds good to me. Can't really go wrong with Lowrance stuff.

    I'd probably consider putting the color up front since that is what I would be looking at more often.

    I have a setup similar to this. X-135 in bow and 334ci in the console. A couple things I have found. I really like the color screen much easier to read than the BW. I don't like having to drop rod and run to console when I want to mark a spot on the GPS.
