How to get lazy bass to bite in the summer?

For those who said night fish, you were right. I ordered a black Pompadour Jr. Topwater bait and got 5 bass after the sun had set, just working the shorline.

If it is an urban pond they have nowhere to go. We would use suspending Thundersticks and sight fish them.

I did most of my fishing at night down there and a Zoom pumpkin lizard was very good.

Myself - I would be throwing topwaters until they couldn't take it anymore
