Hey! I am headed to lake Cherokee from May 8-13th for a big tournament!! I Have never been anywhere near Cherokee so any advice is greatly appreciated!  Sorry for asking for advice all the time.  If anyone needs advice on the James or Chickahominy I can help ya out!!

Good luck! I'd offer some advice, but I've been doing pretty poorly down there lately.

 

We've had a lot of rain lately, and the lake is really coming up, I'd say that will spread the fish out quite a bit.

I have not fished Cherokee in nearly a year but spinnerbaits and flukes can work well in april/may on Cherokee, so have them ready to try.
