my local pond is full of crawfish.  I know cause i used to net coolers full of them out of the pond and go sell em at larger bodies of water.  I picked up some crawfish lookin jig trailers but my pond is choked with weeds.  whats a good bait or way to fish a jig in a weed choked pond?

you could try punching thru the weeds with the jig.

Use a heavy jig.

Be careful selling them, transferring fish/animals from one body of water to another type deal.....

yeah i used to seel them when i was 10 to about 14 i wouldnt do that now but i sure did make some money selling them and earthworms to various fisherman
