New to the forum and new to north central Oklahoma.  Does anyone know of a bass club in Ponca City or Stillwater?  I would love to fill a back seat for someone in tournaments or just fun fishing (happy to pay for gas).  I also have a kayak (big rig) with me and am always ready to go.  Would also be interested in kayak bass tournament information as well.  Thanks!!

I'm in North Central OK too and I don't know of anything either.  Where do you fish up here?

So far I've fished Lake Ponca, Lake McMurtry, Sooner and Boomer with very little success.  Caught a couple dinks in Ponca.  There is a bunch of water up here, just a matter of getting on the water with more than an hour to fish.  That's been my biggest issue, all of them look fishy. 

I just moved down here from Kansas, so far I've only fished sooner and the spillway at Kaw. I've had luck at both, but I've seen some hogs pulled out of sooner! Warm power plant water makes em grow big

I'd love to spend more time on Sooner but I don't have a boat.  I mainly fish Ponca and the Kaw dam.  Hopefully before too long I'll have a kayak.

Anyone near Tulsa/Owasso?
