Team Daiwa TD-Z 103H/105H (20th Anniversary Edition)

Featured Replies

Now that I have your attention... :D

Wouldn't it be cool for Daiwa to offer a 20th Anniversary Edition TD-Z for 2018 (they came out in 1998) with something like the following specs:

103/105 models (RH and LH mirror)
6:1 and 7:1 models
SV spool
Color options (silver w/gold accents, blue)
Mg frame (with hopefully more durable paint)
Something 20th Anniversary related (pin, certificate, etc.)
Anniversary box logo

Would you buy one?

Absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   If I could afford one.  However, I'd be satisfied if Daiwa left them exactly the same but gave them a durable finish.  Better looking colors, SV spool, etc. would just be icing on the cake.

I would assume the same as a regular TD-Z (high 5's low 6's).

I'd love to see this happen.  If I had a say I'd like to see the following:

1. Same mg frame with more durable finish

2. Available in right and left retrieve with choices of 5.xx, 6.xx, 7.xx and 8.xx gear

3. 90mm carbon fiber handle with cork knobs

4. Keep the R+ spool

5. Magforce 3d brakes

6. No T wing.

How about a special SV type R+ spool.
