Rod Selection: Low price range, between 7-8 ft

Hello, 

Looking for advice on a rod selection. I'm traveling abroad to a friends house and its cheaper to buy a rod under 30 that to travel with one I already own.

We are fishing in the Bohemian flats, looking to throw lures between 1/2-1.5 oz. Aiming to catch fish no bigger than 15 lb.

So far I've boiled it down to two rods

 

1) Field & Stream Inferno Spinning Rod- Med Heavy-7.6'- 2 pieces

2) Daiwa Beefstick-SF Spinning Surf Rods- Medium - 8'- 2 pieces

 

Any Suggestions?
