With that 30 hp, I wonder what kind of speed you can get?

Doh!  Has LBH seen this.  This is just the kind of thing he was talking about building just without the OB motor. Those boats looked like someone cut a full size Bassboat in half and re-rigged a new transom on the thing.  Is this in Japan BTW?   Very weird website.  Some is in English and some in Japanese.

I'm NOT crazy!!!

Does that thing look unbelievably similar to the one we came up with???  Like Identical,...great minds think alike, lol.

Those boats remind me of the old "hullin Bass" boats. Just these are like updated mini bass boat.

I know a few guys that still run the old Hullin Bass

Those old Hullin bass boats fly with a 15-18 HP motor on them, I bet these new boats with 30Hp move really good.

If I had the $$ I would have to get one of these. there are a lot of HP limited lake around my area and these boats would be great on them

Yes the site is in japan.  If you search for the site on google it will automatically translate it in English.

I wish they made these in the U.S., but I read the Mega Bass boat costs around $5k.  Looks like a Carolina Skiff

The Souther boats look like a Mini Ranger.  I bet you could rig one up with a regular side steer console and remote steering if the decks were re-porportioned.  If you look at the tournament photo gallery, it looks like they are pulling them with Subaru station wagons.

The original 1948 Skeeter was only 13' long.  I believe this is a grossly underutilized market segment in Bass boats, as not everyone can afford a fully rigged Bass boat, have the vehicle to pull it, or have the need for a large boat.

I also found this for the DIY crowd.
