Hello Everyone,

     I am new to this forum, but after reading some of the other post is see you guys know a thing or two about boats.  I have a 14' 197something Starcraft and I am looking to build a couple of casting decks into it.  Right now I am a college student working at min wage and dont have much money.  Has any one done anything like this, or does anyone have any suggestions that would help?  Thanks

Tell us a little more about your boat .

Is it a semi-v and how wide is the bottom ?

This is a great forum with even better people.  There are some guys on here that have done some nice builds to their boats that will provide great advice with what works and what doesn't work.

My boat is an aluminum semi-V.  It is wheel steering with a floor in it already.  Seating consist of wood planks on brackets with removable seats.  It has wheel steering with a 35-hp johnson outboard.  Hopefully that can clear the pic up better to what my boat looks like.  When the snow clears a little here in Michigan I can get some pictures of it, when i pull it home from a friends for storage.
