kb here   here in centeral indiana  i  winterize my boat motor about thankgiving   and know listening to these guys saying that smallmouth  can be caught in colder water than they use to say.  about winterizing can you just drop motor down to level and drain the water pressure tube and speedo tube and not have any problems with  some thing freezing up  because there are some days in dec and jan that a person can fish and if you do the whole 9 yards on winterizing you hate to do it over again or what can you do kb

i dont winterize my boat, but i use it almost every weekend and i drop the motor to the ground. but i also live in georgia it get no were near as cold as IN
