I am currently looking at a 96 stratos f/s,  18ft  with a 115 Johnson.  has 12/24 evenrude trollin motor, lowerance fish finder, in dash depth finder dual aerated live wells.  The body is extremely well taken care of.  the owner was maticulous about keeping it in good shape. only a few minor scrapes but carpet and seats in great shape.  Does anyone have any issues with this motor.  I have heard of powerhead problems,,can anyone give me some help.  He is asking 7500.  whatcha think.....darren

    Pay to have a pro look at the motor.

    $7500 seems on the high end for that outfit.

    the 115 johnson are good motors. Those V4's have been around for a long time and parts are easy to come by.

    I think $7500 is a bit high, but maybe in your area its the going price.
