Hey guys I was wondering if I could get some opinions on one of my rods. I just bought the new BASSX spinning rod from St. Croix because I was looking into getting a new rod and for $100 it was a steal. I got the 6'8 Medium Extra fast rod for some wacky rigs and such. (what it is intended for) But I was wondering if it was really a big deal if I used it for Jigs, swim baits and Cranks, as my other rod broke and im to cheap to get another

    That rod is really versatile and can be used for all of what you posted. It would not be my first choice for cranks just because of the XF action but it should still work ok.
