Curado 70 - Bearing Size for Handles ?

Featured Replies

Am thinking of adding the bearing in the handles but I wanted to double check if this is the right size (4x7x2.5)

I know I can get the bearings from Ebay which is cheap with shipping. I wanted to turn that into a little Scorpion.

Thanks in advance ..

Call Tackle Warehouse and they may tell you since they sell bearings and service/tune reels.

correct also same for the bushing on the worm gear

Thanks man - So I would need 5 of 4x7x2.5 bearing for each Curado 70 to add on.

Two Bearings for each Handle (4 bearings ) and one on the worm gear

Guess I got a project to do  when I get back from Canada :)

If you dont mind - where did you get your bearings.

I was thinking of getting some from ebay.

Like this: TRB RC 4x7x2.5mm Precision Ball Bearings ABEC 3 Rubber Seals (10) MR74-2RS-BU for $9.98 since I dont need Boca Bearings on those :)

I got them from a local RC car shop or a local bearing supplier depending on the size.

I got mine from Boca Bearing. IMHO, changes the reel for the better. I get a more "connected" feeling. Or I could be just projecting. :) I didn't do the worm gear yet however- fishing it.
