Curado and Distance

Featured Replies

Curado I owners, how do you set your brakes? I've gone 2 off 2 on. Was throwing a frog on my 7'6" H Fast however not nearly getting the distance I'm looking for. Compared to my Zillion, Tatula SV I'd say the distance is 20-30% shorter with my Curado. Throwing 40# Power Pro. Any thoughts?

I use 2 brakes on and the outside dial on "2".  You might want to tinker with the cast control cap pressure until you can get your distance with no back lash.  Anyway, that is what I did and it worked out all right.  I use Sufix 832 50lb braid with my frogs on a 7' MH rod.

Thanks gents, I messed around with it this afternoon, distance is better. Still shorter however acceptable.

1 on 3 off and 2 on the dial. I also have very little tension on the spool
