Question: Removing handle-side side plate on Chronarch MGL

Featured Replies

Tried taking the handle-side side plate off on my Chronarch MGL earlier this evening and got the 3 large screws out. The side plate would not come off, I realized there is one tiny screw below the guide for the thumb bar. Not having the correct screwdriver size for this screw, I just reassembled the handle and drag star plus the 3 screws I removed. Does anyone know the size of the screwdriver needed to take this screw out. I'll probably pick it up tomorrow after I go fishing.

Also of note, it's weird that there is a small pin on the outer end of the drag star that looks like it mates with the bottom of the handle. Haven't seen that on any of my other Shimano reels.

I use a 000 WIHA Phillips for the little bugger and it is tiny.  Use the correct size or you will really mess up the screw.
