hey guys, i was roaming through walmart last night and decided to check out the fishing stuff. The whole section was on clearance and they had a couple fish finders. I bought a small jon boat last year and have been wanting just a basic fish finder and i came across this one for $30...

so i was looking through the manual and figured out where to mount the sensor on the transom, but i didn't know where the most convienant location would be for the display screen. here is my boat....

Where should i mount the display? Thanks

I would put it up on the platform you fish from

well, if your only going to have one fishfinder in the boat.

is it a TM only boat? or do you have a small outboard?

if tm only is it a bow or transom mount?

when you run the boat do you sit in the back and fish from the front?

do you want to see the screen while driving and fishing?

If is a bow only TM them mount it up front so you can see it.

all others mount it on the middle seat. This way when your driving the boat from the rear you can look at it, and then turn it around so you can look at it while fishig up front.
