I need to find a "RBA" group (reel buyers anonymous)

Featured Replies

I just can't help myself every time I go to Cabelas or bass pro I head straight for the reels and get my hands on them. Every time I log onto tackle warehouse I head straight for the reels and look at them.

I wind up spending money on reels instead of what I actually intended to buy. I can't be the only person out there like this. I can't be the only one who has more reels then rods to put them on. Whether it's you just loved the way it felt in hand, read awesome reviews, or just couldn't decide between one reel or another so you bought both. Is there anyone else that has a addiction to reels

If Shimano and Daiwa would quit making such good stuff, I wouldn't feel the need to keep buying reels!

I feel the same way. Although the only Daiwa reels around me are the tatulas so I've yet to find a place to get my hands on any of the Zillions or steez reels.... which is probably a good thing for my wallet

I'm a member of the RBA also. But for me it's rod buyers anonymous! I'm constantly searching the Internet for great deals.

I was like that with rods also when I was searching for "THE" rod that had sensitivity, light weight, the right action, but at a value price.  But thankfully I found the best rod lineup that suits me so now I'm only blowing money on reels

RBM?

Reel Buyers Remorse?

I have between 45-50 reels so yes I have a serious reel buying issue haha.

What I have most of is the furys and for the money they can't be beat. But my favorite is the ChampionXP I only have 1 champion xp but and it's my jig rod. I figured if I was gonna spend that type of money on a rod might as well spend it on the technique I like to fish the most
