Hey guys, I'm interested in buying this minnkota Fortrex from a guy. He says that one day his engine broke down so he had to troll all the way in, he got to the ramp pulled the trailer in then tried starting the boat. He then proceeded to put the boat on the trailer and forgot the trolling motor was down. It looks like the bow guard broke off like it is suppose to do, but I'm not to familiar with this. Down below are the pictures he sent me. Is it just the bow guard, or did anything else break? If so how hard is it to fix and how much would it cost? He says everything else is fine but I will check if I go see it. Thanks for the help, tight lines.

It's probably going to cost a lot or the original owner would have fixed it. Instead of getting opinions here, you should send the picture to a Minn Kota repair shop for an estimate.
