I'm going fishing in the morning with my girlfriend. I was wondering if anyone in or has fished in the Rapides Parish area of Louisiana, what are some good lakes around to bank fish for bass? On my profile I listed Rodemacher Lake (Cleco Lake) as my favorite only because I caught my most recent bass there. Any advice on the best techniques to use from the bank would be greatly appreciated as well.

I didn't catch anything that day. I do post pics when I catch something in the Latest Catch Pics topic in the Fishing Reports forum I believe it is. Unfortunately we didn't wear purple and gold. Actually need to get some to wear. I've moved so many times in the past few years that I've lost alot of things including any LSU apparel that I had. I've been doing more fishing than keeping up with football or even baseball. Those are the only ones I really care about. Thanks for asking though.
