Fished Lake Mittry this morning from 6 am to 11 am off the shore from YPG (second boat launch) all the way back to Betty's Kitchen.  Used worms, jerk bait, and jigs, not even a bite...  Maybe it's because it's raining, it almost never rains here...  Oh and the weeds/moss has really grow to annoying proportions,  but my son and I fished through it any way.  Now if you will excuse us, we are going back out on the boat...  but we are thinking Lake Martinez...  =]

 

 

Due to unusual weather activity for this area (Yuma, AZ) we decided not to take the boat out.  I did however go out fishing again early this morning.  Used a Shad Rap SR-5 and within a few minutes pulled this little guy (2.2 lbs) out of the water. I would have taken a better weight picture but I had a hard time getting the trebles out of the fishes mouth and wanted to hurry so that I could throw the fish back before any damage was done.  I was going to post in latest catch thread but decided I will just leave it here. =]
