I just bought a merc 9.8  and need the year , so i can look up some parts.

Cool thanks its a 1972, now i just got to find  a  few parts and i got a new motor for the hp limit lakes here

The motor looks almost new and has good compression and spark, clean out the carb  an find a missing part infront of the prop and i'm ready to go..
