Stren Gold Fluorescent, where it go?

Featured Replies

Back in the 70s I often used a Stren line that was a a yellow/gold color but it was very fluorescent, even more so than the clear blue florescent. I used it often up D'Arbonne Bayou and the Ouachita River Bayou, fairly muddy water but sometimes clear stained. I see that Stren has a gold line but it is not the stuff I used to fish. I wonder why they quit making it? Caught fish on it pretty good using a blue Mr. Twister worm in the bayou proper and a Spence Scout back in flooded trees.

I belong to the school that considers a bass brain about on par with a flatworm and unless they are really not into biting I just never figure the line color mattered much, but that aside, I just wonder where my favorite old line went to.

Sorry, not been on the forum in a while, hello folks.
