I have a 7 foot 6 heavy cover skeet Reese rod. What exactly would be the best use for this rod? Flipping pitching? Punching?

    Well if anything a punching setup. I used to use heavy to extra heavy power, fast action rods for jig fishing in grass. I use braid and keeping fish buttoned was always a problem. I pretty much stick with a "strong" medium heavy now, problem solved. Any st. Croix mh is a good example of what a jig rod should be.
