how good do those solar chargers work? is it enough to keep a group 27 charged throughout the day under hard use? do they work when its cloudy?

You would need one the size of fridge to charge a trolling motor battery.  Not worth it from what I have read.  Those little ones might be able to top off and maitain a cell phone or radio, but thats it.
