Mounted and run bunches of them.   Just mount it so the blade is a couple of inches below the pad and make sure its in an area that does not lift it out of the water when at WOT.

Ok I interested here ;)

I need a secondary speedo attachment, cause on my motor the little hole on my engine is clogged and I can't seem to unplug it, so I don't know how fast I'm going :D. So if i'm getting this right, they do make a speedo attachment thingy????

If it were me I'd pop for at least a  hand held GPS and be done with the inaccurate speedo! My experience with the tube speedo's is that they are popped off their bracket when you need them.

Cool Thankyou for the link way2slow ;)

HMMMM, so they pop off easy??? that wouldn't be good :D

No, they don't pop off easy.  They will get knocked up if you beach the rear part of the boat or hit them on limbs etc working shallow water but they don't normally come up without some major help.  They will also break off if bent sideways beaching the boat and you forget to pop it up.

kbhere   went and bought one Way2slow  going to give it a try  on a yamaha  at the lower unit is where the have a hose connection   got some more tubing at parts store  and have some  extra strong velcro   going to try putting it on to hold it, maybe to see if pilot tube will work on my ranger   thanks  kb

I seriously doubt there's a velcro made that will hold that thing on the transome.  You are looking at over 60 pounds of pressure applied to that thing by the water when you are running down the at 40 mph.  Also, make sure the blade is inline so it's cutting straight through the water or it will even have more force applied to it.
