Question about sandwich style Power Pole brackets

Featured Replies

My latest boat came with a CMC power lift Jack plate. So i was unable to get the power pole brackets that mount on the side of the plate. I had to go with the sandwich style between the jack plate and motor. My question is, do you guys running these brackets always lower your jack plate down to get the most reach out of your poles once you start fishing? Or do you just leave it in the spot where your motor runs best and lose a few inches?
