So I caved in and picked up a Pelican stinger from DSG with their 50% off sale. Couldn't argue the price to get me off the bank. 

Right now I have it upside down on some 2x4s I turned into tiny saw horses supporting the cockpit area. Is this ok short and long term?

    What about having the kayak right side up on top of some foam blocks or pool noodles? This seems to me to be the best option but I could be terribly wrong....
