If the money designated for fishing includes the cost of boat fuel, yea. Otherwise you're gonna spend a lot of time dead in the water.

You're saving too much. You need to spend a little more on fishing and save a lot less. Just remember, the more money you save today, the less fun you have today. Or something like that.  BTW, I've been trying to save $20 for the last 3 yrs and all I got is 3 dollars and a tic-tac.
