The Bass Raider 10E is not made for salt water

I discovered the galvanized staples holding the deck to the hull on my BR 10E  rust out quickly when used in salt water. I'm going to use aluminum pop rivets to hold the two sections together. Anyone have a better solution?

    We have many users of Bass Raider type boats on this board but it looks like none of them have used them in salt water!
