Where does everyone fish their topwaters?

Wherever cover is present.

wherever there is water

mostly parallel to weedlines and lay downs.

Well I fish mine any were. In open water I look for bait fish being chased at th surface. The second place I use a topwater plug in under the sade of a tree hanging ouver the water.

I agree with pinkfloydrules210.  All around cover, but also wherever I know the bass are holding.  I have caught bass in open water with a topwater when I new they were holding on a point, or other structure.  I've also found that even though topwaters work best in calm, cloudy, and overcast conditions, there really are other times when they will hit topwaters as well. Generally shallow water, with weed cover, submergent, emergent or both.

Definitely agreed on the shallow water part, love them near lily pads the most, if your not gonna use them all the time obviously like the rest of us, but always a strong weapon and keep one with you at all times in case
